Women Only - Expedition to Atlas Mountains (April 30th - May 5th 2026)

£750.00

Experience a seven-day journey through one of North Africa’s most iconic mountain ranges — the High Atlas — designed exclusively for women who want meaningful adventure, cultural immersion, and time to reset.

Your expedition begins in Marrakech, a city known for its 11th-century medina, UNESCO-listed Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and vibrant souks. After exploring its markets and historic landmarks, you’ll head into the mountains, where daily life still follows centuries-old Berber traditions.

For the next four days, you’ll trek through the Azaden Valley, an area known for its terraced farms, walnut groves, and traditional mud-brick villages. Trails average between 2,000–2,500 metres in elevation — challenging but accessible for most reasonably fit hikers. You’ll cross scenic passes and gradually make your way into Toubkal National Park, Morocco’s oldest national park, created in 1942 and spanning more than 380 square kilometres. The park is home to North Africa’s highest peak, Mount Toubkal (4,167m), as well as species like Barbary sheep and the rare Cuvier’s gazelle.

Throughout the trek, there are opportunities to visit local Amazigh communities, enjoy home-cooked meals, and unwind in authentic village hammams - a welcome recovery after long trekking days.

To round out the experience, the journey finishes in the Agafay Desert, a rocky desert just 40 minutes outside Marrakech. Here you’ll take part in a camel ride before returning to the city for a final evening.

This expedition is designed for women who are:
• Navigating a life transition or seeking clarity
• Looking for physically rewarding adventure without technical climbing
• Interested in culture and community, not just kilometres
• Ready to step away from routine and reconnect with themselves

A grounded, challenging, deeply rewarding experience — shaped by real landscapes, real culture, and genuine connection.

Whats Included:

  1. Accommodation (hotels, guesthouses)

  2. Local guides + Shadi

  3. Mules to carry gear
