This is a trek for the bold — for women who live for mountain trails, long climbs, and the thrill of shared adventure. Over eight unforgettable days we’ll journey through the Albanian Alps and the Accursed Mountains, crossing remote borders and wild landscapes where nature and tradition still rule.

From village to village, through forests, waterfalls, and high passes, we’ll experience the real soul of Albania — its legendary hospitality, vibrant culture, and breathtaking scenery. Expect long hiking days, laughter-filled evenings, and that unbeatable sense of pride that comes from pushing beyond comfort and finding your stride in the mountains.

Immersive Experience

This isn’t just a trek — it’s a full dive into mountain life. We’ll stay in family-run guesthouses, share home-cooked meals straight from the land, and listen to stories passed down through generations.

We’ll explore Theth and Valbonë, two of Albania’s most iconic alpine villages, where stone towers rise among wildflower meadows and rivers run glacial blue. Along the way, we’ll wander ancient castles, chase hidden waterfalls, cross mountain borders, and drift across the turquoise waters of Koman Lake — often called the “Albanian Thailand.”

Every day brings something new — cultural connection, breathtaking scenery, and quiet moments of reflection you’ll carry home long after the trek ends.

Physical & Mental Challenge

This adventure will challenge you — and reward you a hundred times over. Expect full hiking days (5–8 hours on the trail), with ascents up to 1,100 m and daily distances between 10–16 km. The terrain shifts from rocky high passes to soft valley paths, always framed by dramatic alpine views.

You’ll need fitness, focus, and a fearless spirit — but you’ll never walk alone. Every step is shared, every climb supported, every summit celebrated together. This is what Team GC is all about: strong women, strong minds, and unforgettable moments of triumph.
